Using smart social media strategies and advanced behavior tracking, we created fun, skincare-related competitive - style topics with AI that tapped into trending interests. This got real users talking and sharing on their own. In the end, we helped a European luxury skincare brand find the right target consumers in China — the ones who truly care.
By leveraging skincare topics and women’s consumer communities on platforms like WeChat, Weibo, and Little Red Book, we precisely targeted female consumers aged 16-59, covering the Super Prestige, Prestige, and Masstige consumer segments. Through the analysis of interactions on social media platforms and user interest tags, we identified individuals with a high level of engagement in skincare ingredients, skincare routines, and brand preferences.
Additionally, we leveraged data from China’s largest e-commerce platform, JD.com, and the largest third-party payment platform, Alipay, to further pinpoint consumers who had purchased specific skincare brands. We refined this targeting by analyzing behavior patterns related to product sustainability and ingredient awareness. Through these precise reach methods and data collection techniques, we ensured the authenticity and accuracy of the sample.
This enabled us to provide the client with valuable insights into Chinese consumers' perceptions and attitudes toward sustainability and skincare ingredients, offering crucial data support for their product innovation and manufacturing decisions.
