Jailbreaking an Apple TV is essential to me, that is if you have Hulu Plus, Media Player that can play more than M4V file, or if you prefer streaming your videos over SMB or AFP through any Network Access Storage (NAS). The important part of having Apple TV is to untie yourself from Apple and it’s standard to only play M4V file rather than Blu-Ray movies in MKV file or AVI file, or better yet, MPEG movies and other format that is compatible if you install Media Player after you jailbreak your Apple TV 2 on 4.4.4 with Seas0nPass. Would it be possible to have two iTunes account for one iPhone, iPod Touch and/or iPad? Why would anyone have two account for one iOS Device? There are a number of reasons. Maybe you don’t want to share what you have with your spouse, or maybe you want to separate your account from your kids. Well, I did it because I have setup an account for my 8 year old son and have him under allowance in iTunes so I can teach him the value of money and being a good kid at the same time. On Apple Website, there is a limit to 10 Associated ID with your account. But what does that really mean? Does it mean you can only have 10 iDevices? Does that mean you can only access your account 10 account at a time? I have about 19 Devices that uses the same account that is associated by iTunes for Automatic Downloads.
I have 3 iPod Touch, from old to new, 3 iPhone 4 including the 4S. 5 iPad 2, 2 iPad 1, 3 Apple TV and 3 Mac OS-X. But how they are associated to 10 ID is unique in some ways and here’s how to avoid the warning pop up box “You Cannot Associate More Devices With This Apple ID”. It then gave me instruction on how to remove an associated device with this statement: “To use Automatic Downloads with this device, remove an associated device from your iTunes Account Settings on your computer and try again.” Continue reading »

I finally got Spire installed on my iPhone 4. I figured, since it only requires a Proxy from an iPhone 4S, which I have, maybe I can just use the authentication from my iPhone 4S so I can install “Siri” on my iPhone 4. Why would I do that though? I mean, I already got an iPhone 4S, I don’t need a wannabe iPhone 4S by using my iPhone 4. Well, it’s just for giggles, and I’m always up for a challenge. So let’s get started, and after the second version of Spire came out, which is under a hundred megabytes, it’s actually 70 something in megabytes now rather than the hundred megabytes in size. So I installed it and let the adventure begin. Continue reading »

One of the reason why I got myself a Kindle is because of the feature not found on the Kindle App for iPad until recent update. With the recent update, there’s no need for me to buy the next generation Kindle or toting my Kindle Fire anymore.

If you have the iPhone 4S and then updated your iOS to 5.0.1 and the dreaded bug of “Searching for Service” bug occurred, then look no further. I think I found the solution. Although this isn’t any different than the iPad 2 3G that I have upgraded to iOS 5.0.1, it too gave me the same bug. Sometimes the bug can also be called “No Service” or “Invalid Sim Card”, whatever it is, the solution below might work for you.

I got a review unit from work, and it’s the Samsung Note. It’s a monstrous 4.3 Inch Device, and the thing is huge to handle. Too big for my taste actually. It fits in my pocket, but it feels awkward and I was afraid to accidentally crack the screen if I sat wrong. Or worst case, if I pocket it in my back pocket and if I accidentally sit on it, what would become of Samsung Note? Continue reading »

My personal reading experience review for Kindle Fire, after a few days of using it personally, it’s a different experience compared to the iPad. However, it is not fair to compare Kindle Fire with an iPad since both are different in size. As for functionality, and practicality, that can be compare to an extent degree.

Just like on the iPad, Play Facebook Games on iPad, this time, it’s for Kindle Fire. The concept is the same, no different than playing Flash Games on the iPad or Kindle Fire. Nothing else does it better than the app that I’m about to write about. It’s been available for the iOS since iOS 4, and now for Kindle Fire in the Amazon App Store for Android.
