This skeptic looking device I saw in Best Buy was some how getting my attention when it comes to saving gas, and this device claim to increase 25 percent more fuel into your car/truck/SUVs’.
The Device is called Fuel Doctor; This company is sponsoring Nascar ( http://www.fueldoctorusa.com/?gclid=CIDlgIS-wKECFSCjiQodKDZ1Dg ), so must have money to back up the claims, and it also has a 30-day money back guarantee, so at this point, there is nothing to loose except $60 dollars from your wallet.
So I bought it. I own two cars, one is a gas sipping car (Scion XA) and the other is a gas guzzler (ML500). I immediately plugged it into my Scion that has only half a tank, well of course I couldn’t wait anyways and plus I know the mpg on this car, which is averaging 31 MPG city/hwy
After about a week, I had to fill up, so this would be the first fill up in Arco using Fuel Doctor. Given the fact that I was skeptic and being negative about the results, so I couldn’t wait to calculate.
Here is the result at half tank:
before Fuel Doctor I can drive 315 miles full tank before fill up.
with Fuel Doctor I filled up at 339 miles at 33.56 MPG city/hwy, plugged it in when it was half full. (Imagine if it was a full tank)
It doesn’t work!!
This is a phony and the calculation doesn’t take a math genius.
My lat two fill ups my MPG was the same, which was 30 MPG for the first fill up and 31 MPG on the second fill up with FuelDoctor.
This is very dissapointing from my expectation. I’m almost at the 30 day mark so I couldn’t wait to get my money back. I wasted my time for this crap.
