Waterproof your iPhone 4S with Dry Case, My Review

Dry CaseProtect your investment from water. This dry case from drycase.com can protect your gadgets as big as the iPhone. It fits most Android phone such as Samsung Galaxy/Nexus, BlackBerry, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and more. There are pros and cons with the dry case, and I chose dry case over the other ones because of versatility to fit more than just the iPhone 4S.

The dry case is not meant for underwater photo shoot, instead, it’s to waterproof your device, or in an accidental drop in the pool, it can go as deep as 100 feet, no more. I would use it for going to a water park for example to wild river, or raging water in California. If you are underwater, and thinking of shooting pictures with it, it will come out to be blurry. The water will not focus where it needs to be, and it’s not because the case is hindering, but the water is so close to the lens, the iPhone thinks I’m shooting stuff in macro distance and the iPhone don’t have macro mode.

You can however takes pictures when you are above the water, even when there’s water drip over the lens, or water smear, it would still take pictures.

Dry Case comes with air suction, to suck all that air out once your device is in. It comes with Velcro strap, neck strap and the dry case pack. Once you place your device inside the dry case pack, you can plug in the built-in headphone and mic plug, so if you decide to use your headset with mic, you can plug it in the headset and mic plug on the bottom of the dry case pack.

You can also use the dry case without the headphone and mic plug and still be able to hear the other party voice when you are in a call. I usually don’t put the jack plugged into the device headphone, I just leave it, unless if I decide to lay on the pool side and listen to my music while I get tan, but that rarely happens as I have a toddler bugging me every minute now (not complaining, just don’t have the time).

I got my Dry Case from Amazon.com and I love it so much, I got two of them. One for me, one for the wife, or for my son’s iPod Touch if he decide to bring it to the pool.

Below are some pictures of the Dry Case:
