The iPad 2, iPod Touch, Nexus One, HTC HD2 all have capacitive touch screen. But the problem with the smaller devices is that it’s not worth getting a stylus for you to write on. The screen is too small for you to write comfortably. I tried using the stylus on my Nokia N97, and it’s awkward to hold the small device with one hand and write with the other. The screen size needs to be at least as big as the iPad 2, big enough to hold the device securely.
So having a stylus for the iPad is perfect. It’s almost as big as a regular legal paper size, and comfortable enough to write on. So now, the question is, will you be comfortable enough with this foam tip stylus? Feels a little spongy, but it needs that to trick the capacitive screen to think that it’s a finger. Since your body conducts electricity, it needs to simulate the same. So it won’t be that pointy tip of a stylus that I’m used to, but it gets the jobs done. It is much better than taking notes with your fingers. Taking notes with your fingers is like finger painting and just very inaccurate.
Though thereĀ are different styluses that you can find online, I found two, the one I’m posting about is the cheapest. Though I didn’t get the one I’m posting about, it should feel the same, but just half the cost of the other one. You can check out mi-stylus here.
