Are you having problem when your iPad or iPhone keeps on asking to enter in your Password of your Apple ID? It keeps on asking for your Password of your Apple ID every 10 minutes or whenever you turn on your iPad or iPhone from sleep? This has happened to me and it gets annoying after awhile. No matter if you input your password over and over again. It keeps on trying to verify against Apple Store for security reason. This happens after I switched from iPad 2 to the new iPad, and then it happens as well when I was switching from black iPhone 4S to white iPhone 4S.The constant request of entering your password happens after a restore of a backup. The need to re-verify with Apple was consistent at every 10 minutes and/or whenever I turn on the device from sleep. This was remedied after realizing that one of the app that requires me to enter my password constantly was Find My Friends app. I deleted the app and everything was back to normal.
If you don’t have Find My Friends app after restore, my suggestion is to find the app that keeps on requesting for verification. It doesn’t matter if you have turn off automatic download, or if you turned off shared download from other iOS devices. It doesn’t matter if you log out and re-logged in. The minute you re-logged in, the persistent problem will persist and will not cease to decease until you find that app.
Another suggestion is to check your credentials in Game Center and Find My iPhone. They too required your verification and this only happens after a restore.
If your iOS device was fine to begin with, and all of a sudden the requesting for password consistently happening to you; find that app that was last installed and delete it.
The problem can also occur if you are in the middle of downloading and got cut off for whatever reason. During this download, the app timed out and then it got paused. But when you resume, it would ask you to enter in your password. If you enter in your password again but the app isn’t downloading then I would delete the unfinished app that you were downloading and re-download it. You won’t be billed twice for the same app since you already paid once under the same account.
To troubleshoot further, Apple ID is required for iCloud, FaceTime, and Messages (iMessage). Be sure those are updated as well if you have recently changed your iTunes Password. Check your Settings and update your password. If you have not change your password, I would suggest logout and re-login with your current password.
