There are two ways you can do this, the easy way, or the hard way. Below I’ll show you the easy way to install Flash on your site. But it all depends on what you want to do with Flash. If you want to use Flash for playing games on Facebook, you won’t find it here.

However, you can find it on this link instead to find out how to play Facebook games. If you have a Jailbroken iPad 2, that means you can install Frash, but will it work? It won’t, because as of 4.3.x, Frash will not install properly onto Safari Browser. Not even on the iPhone 4 jailbroken on iOS 4.3.x.

This post isn’t about officially installing Flash onto your iPad 2, jailbroken or not, but it is about installing a 3rd party app to have Flash run. The easy way is to install a 3rd Party app and be done with it, that is if you need to have a Flash base browser to view sites such as Google Analytics, or WordPress Statistics, or if you are a sales person who sells Flash Banner Ads and is curious if the Flash displays correctly if you were to be on a real world computer, not on the iPad.

Then the best two browsers for Flash browsing, not for playing Facebook games, are:

Puffin – $0.99 and Universal App. Puffin is as simple as Flash browser. It needs to connect to Puffin Server to relay the site and convert the Flash so your iPad 2 can translate it to simple HTML 5. The server relaying the information is pretty fast, you won’t even notice it. However, if it’s the first time you visit the site with heavy Flash site, it would take a second or two before it can parse all that information in.

The last one is exactly like Puffin Browser:

Skyfire – $4.99 for iPad. It’s pretty much the same as Puffin, except the interface of Skyfire is nicer. It also renders Flash Websites much faster than Puffin. Just like Puffin, it can do Tab Browsing. Like I said, it does exactly like Puffin, converts Flash to HTML 5 and displays it onto your iPad 2 for your viewing pleasure for $4.99.

Conclusion, Puffin is good enough. It worked for me for a long time, and though I have use Skyfire before it comes out on the iTunes Store, I’ve used it on my Nokia N97, and I thought it was cool then. But Puffin does the job nicely, and the interface is meek, but I’m not going to complain for an app that’s only $0.99.

So, that’s just one of the easy way to Install Flash on your iPad 2, and you don’t even have to jailbreak your iPad 2 too. After you install one of the apps above and you would like to see how fast the browser is between the two, go to imaginehow.com and click on the image. You should see the animation animate.
