I got the GorillaMobile Ori for iPad 2 from Joby for my personal use, and it has it’s function. It is easy to carry, because it’s light, thin enough, and yet it’s versatile in every way you want to position your iPad 2. The one I got is for iPad 2, and since then, I’ve been using it on the bed, in the kitchen during breakfast reading my news, and I use it as a stand for my Night Clock during bed time.

The picture below does some justice, although I think you should check out Joby website for more information at http://joby.com/gorillamobile/ori-2/features

There are a gazillion iPad 2 Stand out there and this one stands out. It looks good, with it’s chrome look, and futuristic looks when it’s folded. It just looks very modern. When standing it up to it’s full extent, the white back cover looks very elegant. When the case is used to fully open, it doesn’t look like an iPad from behind.

The Ori takes two hands to open it fully to it’s standing position. The Ori also is a little flimsy when using your iPad 2 without opening the Ori to a stand and it doesn’t matter if you’re holding it with just one hand handling the iPad while browsing the internet, touching the screen would push the iPad to the back of the Ori case or if you have it in a stand or half stand, it would still wobble a little.

The Ori can do a 360 rotation, but this only works if it’s in it’s full open standing position. Opening it half way would work too, as long as you don’t prop the iPad all the way in a 90 degree position.

Another one that I’m ordering at the moment is the Yogi for iPad 2 at http://joby.com/gorillamobile/yogi-2/. It’s like a Flexible tube that you can wrap around anything that can or use it as versatile stand. I’m actually thinking of using the Yogi for iPad 2 as a Headrest Car Seat. Since most cars has a gap in between the backrest and the headrest, the Yogi would be good for the kids entertainment.
