I had my hotmail account for ages now and when I heard the news that Hotmail is implementing Exchange Server, I’m all over it. It’s been 10 years since I really use my Hotmail account, usually I use it to get some stuff that I know will be spam to hell. But usually the spam filter gets the most of it, I know because I just checked. So anyway, on with the how to.

I did a trial and error, usually the mail server for mobile is m.hotmail.com. So I set it up the same way I did when I setup my GMail with Exchange Server, except on Step 8, I set the server as m.hotmail.com. At the moment, it might or might not work, for some people it works. For some, it doesn’t. Good luck with the setup, but don’t expect Calendars and Contacts to work out of the box, it’s not entirely like Google Mail. I didn’t want my Contacts or Calendars to be duplicated, so I disabled that in the option within my iPad and iPhone 4 during the setup.
